Channel Description

Initially a school documentary project, Death Row Dogs, has turned into a multi platform showcase of the programs inside CDCR prisons. Wileys wish is a animal rescue that saves dogs from high kill shelters all over California. They work with the CDCR to then place these dogs inside prisons, where they live full time until they are adopted. Wiley's wish trains the inmates on how to prepare these dogs to be adopted and find their forever home. They work on desensitizing them to noise, new areas, and grooming. Dogs in the program learn how to obey commands and many are on the path to be service animals. As of now, Wileys wish is in 3 prisons - Here are the programs Soledad - Stripes and Paws Pleasant Valley - Coalinga - Second Chance Rescue Program SATF- Corcoran - Unleashed Rescue Academy My goal is to help bring exposure to the amazing things that are happening behind prison walls here in the Central Valley.
