Many people usually think that learning Modern Standard Arabic, or فصحى (Fus7a), is more useful to learn before learning a dialect. However, most Syrians (and most Arabs in general), don't use Fus7a in their daily lives and conversations, which is why it's better to learn a dialect when starting your Arabic language journey. The Syrian dialect is especially useful, as Syrian series are very popular across the Arab world, and most Arabs can understand the Syrian dialect. On this channel, you'll find videos for all levels.
