Channel Description
I am a passionate advocate for thyroid patients. My efforts focus on the topic of nonsurgical procedures which preserve a patient's thyroid and quality of life. After my 2019 experience with RFA treatment of a large benign thyroid mass, I founded Save Your Thyroid: a community for patients seeking FDA-approved, nonsurgical treatment options. Due to a lack of patient-focused resources, I create and share educational content through my podcast "Save Your Thyroid with Jennifer Holkem," and on social media. I've had the privilege to interview patients and key opinion leaders worldwide, working to build awareness of treatment advancements in the patient and physician community. I also developed saveyourthyroid.org, a patient-oriented resource, including lists of physicians who offer nonsurgical treatment options. In 2025, I began providing patient navigation services for patients who need more personalized guidance on their treatment journey.
