My name is Jake. My wife and I reached Barista F.I.R.E. in 2023 at the age of 37. JL Collins pioneered the idea of investing into VTSAX (VTI) as the simple path to wealth. Inspired by JL Collins, I created the simple path to wealth with dividend investing to reach financial independence. I believe those seeking to live off of a dividend portfolio should adopt a similar approach as suggested by JL Collins. My take on the simple path to wealth with dividend investing is to buy SCHD and DGRO, buy as much as you can whenever you can and hold them forever.
